For my Dallas Fort Worth peeps…seeing the Dallas Arboretum in the Fall is a must do!  Especially the world renowned Pumpkin Village.  And anytime at the Arboretum is fantastic for the little kiddos in the Children’s Adventure Garden.  On the weekends it is super crowded, get there early, because it’s a major destination for family photos for the fall and holidays.

When you enter the Arboretum you will see huge piles of pumpkins and gourds, and the pumpkins line every walkway and pathway.  You will be amazed…until you get to the Pumpkin Village…that’s where the real amazement happens!  The shear volume and quantities of the pumpkins is overwhelming.  There are pumpkins everywhere!

After you hang out in the Pumpkin Village, peruse around the gardens.  They are wonderful.  If you have little kiddo…head over to the Children’s Adventure Garden.  There is an additional fee…but so worth it.  It is a very hand on experience for the kid to explore.  Our favorite is the secret garden maze…where you go on a quest!  Also a hit is the huge tree house and water stations…had to drag kiddo away from the water stuff, he loved them!
