Organize your photos!

Taking photos is just the first step in preserving your precious family memories. Making sure your treasured photos are safe and accessible is a legacy you’ll leave to your family – and today the journey to more organized photos begins! – Simple As That blog

Last week I talked about the importance of documenting our lives, getting your photos off your phones or the cloud and getting them into photo albums, scrapbooks or printed books.  If you are anything like me, a mom that takes tons and tons of pictures…the thought of getting all of your photos organized and pulled together can seem daunting.

I know that for the most part my more recent photos are on my computer and in scrapbooks…but I also have many many years of pictures in boxes, old albums that are falling apart, memory cards, old photos that are on CDs and disks (do they even make those anymore?).  I put the photos onto CDs and disks when I needed some space on my computer way back in the day before computers had huge storage capacities.

Starting this month, a blog call Simple As That is starting a monthly series about organizing all of your photos.  I don’t know where exactly she is going with this monthly series…but organizing my photos is one of my goals for this year, so I am going to check it out every month and see how it can help.  I know it won’t take a day…probably closer to a month or so before all of them are organized, but I WILL DO IT!
